Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Aluminium prices fell 0.39% to Rs 240.70 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by weak demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jun 7 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday declined by 0.39 per cent to Rs 240.70 per kg in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in spot markets.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in June fell 95 paise or 0.39 per cent to Rs 240.70 per kg in a trading volume of 3,343 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries pulled down aluminium prices.
