Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Aluminium prices fell on Wednesday due to weak demand from consuming industries, resulting in a decline of Rs 2.50 to Rs 211.50 per kg in the futures market.
New Delhi, Aug 7 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday declined Rs 2.50 to Rs 211.50 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August fell Rs 2.50 or 1.17 per cent to Rs 211.50 per kg in 4,230 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
