Aluminium Futures Fall on Low Demand - PTI
Aluminium prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell on Thursday, slipping Re 1 to Rs 238.40 per kg due to weak demand in the spot market.
New Delhi, Oct 17 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday slipped Re 1 to Rs 238.40 per kilogram in the futures market, as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November fell Re 1 or 0.42 per cent to Rs 238.40 per kg in 1,267 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
