Aluminium Futures Fall on Low Demand

Aluminium futures prices in India declined due to weak demand from consuming industries. July delivery fell 0.18% to Rs 247.70 per kg.
New Delhi, Jun 27 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday declined 45 paise to Rs 247.70 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July fell 45 paise or 0.18 per cent to Rs 247.70 per kg in 4,125 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
