Aluminium prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange declined on Monday due to weak demand from consuming industries. Read more about the fall in aluminium futures.
New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday declined 60 paise to Rs 233.45 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in July fell 60 paise or 0.26 per cent to Rs 233.45 per kg in 4,075 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
