New Delhi, Mar 28 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday decreased by Rs 1.95 to Rs 249.25 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April fell Rs 1.95 or 0.78 per cent to Rs 249.25 per kg in 3,469 lots.
Analysts said participants reduced their positions on easing demand from consuming industries which capped aluminium prices.
