Aluminium Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Aluminium futures prices declined on Thursday due to weak demand from consuming industries. Participants trimmed their positions, leading to a fall of Rs 3.05 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Aug 1 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday declined Rs 3.05 to Rs 211.50 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August fell Rs 3.05 or 1.42 per cent to Rs 211.50 per kg in 4,653 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
