Aluminium Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Aluminium prices fell on Friday due to low demand from consuming industries, with the December futures contract dropping to Rs 201.15 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange.

New Delhi, Dec 1 (PTI) Aluminium price on Friday declined 5 paise to Rs 201.15 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December marginally fell by 5 paise or 0.02 per cent to Rs 201.15 per kg in 3,955 lots.
Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
