Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. October delivery up 0.16% to Rs 256.35/kg. Demand from industries supports price increase.
New Delhi, Sep 9 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday rose 40 paise to Rs 256.35 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in October increased 40 paise or 0.16 per cent to Rs 256.35 per kg 498 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
