Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. Prices up by 0.26% to Rs 266.95/kg in November delivery. Demand from industries supports the rise.
New Delhi, Oct 15 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday rose by 70 paise to Rs 266.95 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November increased by 70 paise, or 0.26 per cent, to Rs 266.95 per kg in 960 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
