Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. November delivery up 0.45% to Rs 268.65/kg on MCX. Demand from industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Oct 23 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.20 to Rs 268.65 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November increased Rs 1.20 or 0.45 per cent to Rs 268.65 per kg in 2,096 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
