Aluminium Futures Rise: Fresh Bets Fuel Price Hike

Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets at MCX. November delivery up Rs 2.20 to Rs 273.25/kg. Demand from industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Oct 29 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday rose Rs 2.20 to Rs 273.25 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in November increased Rs 2.20 or 0.81 per cent to Rs 273.25 per kg in 4,015 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
