Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets at MCX. January delivery up Rs 1.65 to Rs 280.95/kg. Demand from industries supports price rise.
New Delhi, Dec 11 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday rose Rs 1.65 to Rs 280.95 per kilogram in the domestic futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January climbed by Rs 1.65 or 0.59 per cent to Rs 280.95 per kilogram in a business turnover of 983 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
