Aluminium futures climb on fresh bets. January delivery up 0.71% to Rs 283.55/kg on MCX. Demand from industries supports prices.
New Delhi, Dec 15 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday rose Rs 2 to Rs 283.55 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January increased Rs 2 or 0.71 per cent to Rs 283.55 per kg in 1,240 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
