Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange climbed 0.83% to Rs 229.85 per kg on Friday, driven by fresh positions from speculators and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Jun 28 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday climbed 0.83 per cent to Rs 229.85 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for July delivery increased by Rs 1.90 or 0.83 per cent to Rs 229.85 per kg in a business turnover of 4,341 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
