Aluminium futures prices climbed 0.09 per cent to Rs 230.65 per kilogram on Tuesday, driven by fresh bets from speculators amid a positive spot market trend.

New Delhi, Jul 2 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday climbed 0.09 per cent to Rs 230.65 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for July delivery increased by 20 paise or 0.09 per cent to Rs 230.65 per kg in a business turnover of 4,486 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
