Aluminium prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 0.2% to Rs 201.10 per kg on Thursday, driven by fresh bets and demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Feb 8 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday inched up 0.2 per cent to Rs 201.10 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for February delivery increased marginally by 40 paise or 0.2 per cent to Rs 201.10 per kg in a business turnover of 3,639 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
