Aluminium Futures Rise on Fresh Bets - PTI

Aluminium prices climbed 1.3% on Wednesday in futures trading, driven by speculator activity and positive spot market trends. Demand from consuming industries also played a role.
New Delhi, Feb 21 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday inched up 1.3 per cent to Rs 201.90 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for February delivery increased marginally Rs 2.60 or 1.3 per cent to Rs 201.90 per kg in a business turnover of 2,104 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
