Aluminium Futures Rise on Speculative Bets
Aluminium prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) surged on Wednesday due to increased speculative activity driven by a positive trend in the spot market. The rise was further fueled by demand from consuming industries.

New Delhi, Mar 12 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday rose Re 1 to Rs 265.20 per kilogram in the futures market as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April increased Re 1 or 0.38 per cent to Rs 265.20 per kg in 757 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
