Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.45% on Friday, reaching Rs 835.05 per kilogram due to weak demand in the domestic market. Analysts attribute the decline to speculator trimming of positions.
New Delhi, Oct 25 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell 0.45 per cent to Rs 835.05 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery eased by Rs 3.75 or 0.45 per cent to Rs 835.05 per kg in a business turnover 7,005 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
