Copper futures on the MCX fell 0.23% to Rs 830.60 per kg on Friday, driven by reduced positions and weak demand in the domestic market.
New Delhi, Jan 31 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell 0.23 per cent to Rs 830.60 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery eased by Rs 1.90 or 0.23 per cent to Rs 830.60 per kg in a business turnover of 6,239 lots.

Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
