Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange fell 0.51% to Rs 859.70 per kg on Thursday due to weak domestic demand and reduced bets by participants.
New Delhi, May 15 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday slipped 0.51 per cent to Rs 859.70 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery eased by Rs 4.40 or 0.51 per cent to Rs 859.70 per kilogram in a business turnover of 3,058 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
