Copper futures fell 0.58% on Friday to Rs 845 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by weak demand in the domestic market.
New Delhi, Nov 8 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday fell 0.58 per cent to Rs 845 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery eased by Rs 4.90 or 0.58 per cent to Rs 845 per kg in a business turnover of 7,114 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
