Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Copper futures prices fell 0.57% to Rs 866.70 per kg due to weak domestic demand and reduced participant positions. July contracts on MCX were affected.
New Delhi, Jun 3 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday slipped 0.57 per cent to Rs 866.70 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased by Rs 4.95 or 0.57 per cent to Rs 866.70 per kilogram in a business turnover of 854 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
