Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Copper futures slipped 0.05% to Rs 883.55 per kg due to weak domestic demand. Analysts cite reduced participant bets.
New Delhi, Jun 6 (PTI) Copper futures on Friday slipped 0.05 per cent to Rs 883.55 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased by 40 paise or 0.05 per cent to Rs 883.55 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,383 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
