Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Copper futures prices slipped to Rs 883.60 per kg due to weak domestic demand and reduced participant positions. MCX July contracts eased slightly.
New Delhi, Jun 17 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday marginally slipped to Rs 883.60 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased by 10 paise or 0.01 per cent to Rs 883.60 per kilogram in a business turnover of 3,314 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
