Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Copper futures slipped to Rs 885.05 per kg on Thursday due to weak domestic demand and reduced participant positions. Analysts cite lower bets as a contributing factor.
New Delhi, Jun 19 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday slipped to Rs 885.05 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery marginally eased by Re 1 or 0.11 per cent to Rs 885.05 per kilogram in a business turnover of 4,665 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
