Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Copper futures fell 0.21% to Rs 891.10 per kg due to weak domestic demand. Participants reduced positions on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Jun 30 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.21 per cent to Rs 891.10 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased Rs 1.85 or 0.21 per cent to Rs 891.10 per kilogram in a business turnover of 7,819 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
