Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Copper futures fell 0.32% to Rs 902.50 per kg due to weak domestic demand and reduced participant positions. Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) trading details included.
New Delhi, Jul 3 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday fell 0.32 per cent to Rs 902.50 per kilogram, as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased Rs 2.90 or 0.32 per cent to Rs 902.50 per kilogram in a business turnover of 8,557 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
