Copper Futures Decline on Weak Demand

Copper futures fell due to weak demand in the domestic market, dropping by 90 paise to Rs 895.45 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Jul 29 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell by 90 paise to Rs 895.45 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for August delivery slipped by 90 paise or 0.1 per cent to Rs 895.45 per kilogram in a business turnover of 7,221 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
