Copper futures decline on MCX due to reduced positions and muted domestic demand. September contracts eased to Rs 887.60 per kg.
New Delhi, Aug 19 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday fell Rs 1.05 to Rs 887.60 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for September delivery eased Rs 1.05 or 0.12 per cent to Rs 887.60 per kilogram in a business turnover of 3,797 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
