Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand - PTI

Copper futures slipped on Monday due to muted demand in the domestic market. Speculators trimmed their positions, leading to a decline in prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Jul 1 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.33 per cent to Rs 837.75 per kilogram as participants cut their positions amid a muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery eased by Rs 2.75 or 0.33 per cent to Rs 837.75 per kg in a business turnover of 9,121 lots.
Analysts said trimming of positions by speculators amid a muted demand in the spot market mainly dragged down copper prices in the futures trade.
