Copper Futures Fall on Weak Demand

Copper futures declined 0.08% to Rs 895.60 per kg due to weak domestic demand. Participants reduced positions on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Jul 28 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday fell 0.08 per cent to Rs 895.60 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for August delivery eased 70 paise or 0.08 per cent to Rs 895.60 per kilogram in a business turnover of 6,814 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline in copper prices to lower bets by participants.
