Copper Futures Rise on Demand | MCX Update

Copper futures on the MCX surged 0.31% to Rs 712.10 per kg, driven by increased spot demand. Analysts cite rising bets among participants.
New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose 0.31 per cent to Rs 712.10 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in November traded higher by Rs 2.20 or 0.31 per cent at Rs 712.10 per kg in a business turnover of 6,437 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
