Copper Futures Rise on Demand | PTI

Copper futures prices surged on Wednesday, driven by increased demand in the spot market. Analysts cite rising bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Jun 26 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.39 per cent to Rs 842.2 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in July traded higher Rs 3.30 or 0.39 per cent at Rs 842.2 per kg in a business turnover of 8,967 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
