Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) rose 0.29% on July 4th due to increased spot demand, according to PTI. Analysts attribute the increase to rising bets from participants.
New Delhi, Jul 4 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.29 per cent to Rs 865.80 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in July traded higher Rs 2.50 or 0.29 per cent at Rs 865.80 per kg in a business turnover of 9,325 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
