Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose 0.41% to Rs 729.65 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange, driven by increased spot demand and rising bets by participants.
New Delhi, Dec 20 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.41 per cent to Rs 729.65 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in December traded higher by Rs 3 or 0.41 per cent at Rs 729.65 per kg in a business turnover of 3,090 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
