Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices rose 0.31% on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to increased spot demand and higher bets by participants.
New Delhi, Dec 27 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.31 per cent to Rs 734.90 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in January traded higher by Rs 2.25 or 0.31 per cent at Rs 734.90 per kg in a business turnover of 5,045 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
