Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices in India rose on Monday due to increased spot demand. The Multi Commodity Exchange saw copper contracts for January delivery trade higher by 0.27%.
New Delhi, Jan 15 (PTI) Copper prices on Monday rose 0.27 per cent to Rs 714.30 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in January traded higher by Rs 1.90, or 0.27 per cent, at Rs 714.30 per kg in a business turnover of 6,438 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
