Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices in India rose 0.21% on Thursday due to increased spot demand, according to the PTI. Analysts attributed the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 25 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.21 per cent to Rs 723.95 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in January traded higher by Rs 1.55 or 0.21 per cent at Rs 723.95 per kg in a business turnover of 478 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
