Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand - PTI

Copper prices in India surged 0.3% on Thursday, driven by robust spot demand. The rise was attributed to increased bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Feb 8 (PTI) Copper prices on Thursday rose 0.3 per cent to Rs 713.35 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in February traded higher Rs 2.15 or 0.3 per cent at Rs 713.35 per kg in a business turnover of 5,607 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
