Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Copper futures prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 0.15% to Rs 711 per kg due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to higher bets from participants.
New Delhi, Nov 8 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.15 per cent to Rs 711 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in November traded higher by Rs 1.10 or 0.15 per cent at Rs 711 per kg in a business turnover of 6,023 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
