Copper Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Copper futures climbed on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased spot demand and higher bets by participants. Learn more about the rise in copper prices.
New Delhi, Mar 6 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday climbed Rs 4.85 to Rs 884.85 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery rose Rs 4.85 or 0.55 per cent to Rs 884.85 per kg in a business turnover of 1,469 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
