Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand - PTI

Copper prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose 0.14% to Rs 820.40 per kg on Wednesday, driven by increased spot demand and bets by participants.
New Delhi, Sep 18 (PTI) Copper prices on Wednesday rose 0.14 per cent to Rs 820.40 per kilogram in the futures market on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for delivery in October traded higher Rs 1.15 or 0.14 per cent at Rs 820.40 per kg in a business turnover of 3,655 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
