Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange rose on Wednesday due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to higher bets by participants.
New Delhi, Oct 23 (PTI) Copper futures on Wednesday rose 0.04 per cent to Rs 844.80 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for November delivery increased by 30 paise or 0.04 per cent to Rs 844.80 per kg in a business turnover of 5,500 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
