Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) gained 0.27% to Rs 809.40 per kg due to increased spot demand. Analysts attribute the rise to increased bets by participants.
New Delhi, Nov 21 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday rose 0.27 per cent to Rs 809.40 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for December delivery climbed Rs 2.15 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 809.40 per kg in a business turnover of 6,483 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
