Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand
Copper futures gained on Thursday due to increased spot demand, with prices rising by 0.25% to Rs 868.15 per kilogram on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Feb 13 (PTI) Copper futures on Thursday rose 0.25 per cent to Rs 868.15 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery climbed Rs 2.15 or 0.25 per cent to Rs 868.15 per kg in a business turnover of 2,341 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
