Copper Futures Rise on Higher Spot Demand

Copper futures prices increased by 0.23% to Rs 887.10 per kg due to higher spot demand and increased participant bets. Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) July contracts saw a rise.
New Delhi, Jun 26 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.23 per cent to Rs 887.10 per kilogram on Thursday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for July delivery grew by Rs 1.35 or 0.15 per cent to Rs 887.10 per kg in a business turnover of 6,991 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
