Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand
Copper futures gained on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to increased spot demand. The rise is attributed to higher bets by market participants.
New Delhi, Mar 17 (PTI) Copper futures on Monday rose marginally by Rs 2.45 to Rs 904.20 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery rose by Rs 2 .45 or 0.27 per cent to Rs 904.20 per kg in a business turnover of 3,063 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
