Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climb 0.22% to Rs 1,123.20/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand and positive market sentiment. January contracts gain.
New Delhi, Dec 12 (PTI) Copper futures rose 0.22 per cent to Rs 1,123.20 per kilogram on Friday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for January delivery grew Rs 2.45 or 0.22 per cent to Rs 1,123.20 per kg in a business turnover of 2,879 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
